Nancy Demaurex, a native of San Francisco, California, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Finance and Marketing) from the University of San Francisco. Immediately out of college, she worked in sales and marketing for Bayhill Service Corporation, a company active in the secondary mortgage market. She was soon recruited by Bank of America (B of A). As Vice President and Manager of Employee Development and Training, Nancy developed and delivered many hard-skill technical training programs and pioneered the introduction of soft-skill management development training for B of A.
Nancy left the United States to move to Switzerland in 1993 where she became a certified Business and Life Coach, training ICF accredited, and MBTI, Firo-B and Hogan Development Survey practitioner. In association with IMD executive coaches, Nancy coaches project teams within the EMBA program for the University of Lausanne.
As a Managing Partner with EMPACT Coaching and Training, Nancy has the pleasure of working with individuals, businesses and other organizations to improve individual and collective performance through coaching and training in relational intelligence.
René Pasquier began his career as Coach specialised in the physical rehabilitation of the severely handicapped at the CHUV in Lausanne and, later of leprosy patients, in Ethiopia and Nepal. He went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics. As a business economist, he managed projects, developed commercial business, created business plans and conducted market studies for various public institutions and private companies in Switzerland.
This two-fold experience in the development of both human beings and organizations lead René to commit to managing the common, but often divergent, needs of both by becoming a Human Resources Manager. These 25 years of experience showed him how the performance of an organization largely depends on the relational intelligence of its leaders and employees. To better help individuals and professionals in this area, René became a certified coach, member of ICF, trainer of adults (FSEA), counselor, and PNL practitioner. He is also trained in CNV, AT and Mediation.
As a Managing Partner with EMPACT and with experience in managing life and career transitions, René is passionate about encouraging individuals, teams and leaders to see the opportunities that difficult circumstances, crisis, and relational problems create for exceeding their limits and becoming the best possible version of themselves.
